Francisca Onyinoyi Aiyetan (Mrs)
Director, Broadcast Monitoring
Erstwhile Zonal Director, National Broadcasting Commission, Abuja Zone where she supervised broadcasting stations in Kwara, Kogi, Nasarawa, Niger States and the Federal Capital Territory, Mrs. Aiyetan is a seasoned professional and an avowed coach in the broadcasting industry.
Mrs. Aiyetan is a graduate of Performing Arts from the University of Ilorin, with a Master’s Degree in Media Arts from the University of Abuja Nigeria. She also obtained a Higher Executive Diploma in Marketing from the University of Lagos. She has worked in broadcasting regulation for over 26 years.
Before her journey began at the National Broadcasting Commission, she had worked for the Kogi State Ministry of Education as a Literature/Drama teacher at the Queen of Apostles College, Okene, where she toured the State with her students to perform plays and other literary displays. She also had a stint of Broadcast Marketing at the Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria (FRCN).
In the 90s, she featured in Tele-dramas on the Nigeria Television Authority (NTA) Network Programmes, most popular amongst them being the rested Third Eye scripted by Cordelia Eke and directed by quintessential producers like Late Lai Arasanmi and later Last Eguavon.
Franca’s passion is in the Art- Drama, Dance and Music in that order. She also enjoys the art of photography. As she rose through the ranks, she worked in Public Affairs the longest, heading the Audiovisual Unit and turning her passion to job.
Mrs Aiyetan has attended several Seminars, Conferences and professional events at home and abroad some of which are, MIPCOM show in Cannes, France; International Broadcast Conference RAI, Amsterdam, Commonwealth Telecommunication Organization Conference, Johannesburg, AfricaCom Cape Town South Africa. Etc. She trained under the world renowned Crestcom Bulletproof Managers in Management and holds a Certificate in Management Development from Wits Business School, Johannesburg.
She is a member of some professional organizations like Society of Nigerian Theatre Artists (SONTA); Nigeria Institute of Public Relations (NIPR); Nigeria Institute of Management (NIM).
